So what is the best laptop to buy?

Dell           Dell laptops have very few problems. They are generally a good investment. A few years ago the 5150 and 5160 models had a tendency to overheat but dell has addressed these issues and now the only problems they have when it comes to repairs is because of broken power connectors. Dell do not sell in the shops so if you want to buy one you would need to phone them or buy one on the internet. The part where you plug your adapter into the back of the laptop can get worn out hence the board will need to be taken out and a new pin fitted to the motherboard. Generally speaking Dell is a good laptop to buy.

Sony    Sony Vaio laptops must be the best looking laptops of all. If you want to have the best looking laptop on the block then here is the king. However some Sony laptops suffer from boot up problems. Sometimes they will just fail to boot up. One day they work fine the next they just wont boot at all. This is for safety reasons. Sony Vaio laptops need to be serviced once a year. Some of them are thin and if picked up with one hand they may develop bad contact on the motherboard.

IBM     Ibm is now known as Lenovo. Ibm laptops are not very nice looking laptops but are very strong workhorses. If you want a laptop to last you many years then IBM is a safe bet. They rarely suffer from problems. However on the t41 models some of them suffer from bad contact on the motherboard usually where the graphics chipset is located. There website is difficult to navigate when looking for drivers. In general IBM is a good laptop to buy.

Toshiba   Toshiba make decent laptops. You may be surprised to know that in a lot of the other laptops in this list have lot of their parts are made by Toshiba. The Quasmio range has been a nightmare for Toshiba. Many of them suffer from onboard graphics card problems. There other ranges of laptops are good sturdy notebooks with their latest models having few problems at all the satellite range is a safe bet to buy.

Acer   Surprisingly Acer are pretty good laptops. There small 13.3 laptops have few problems at all. The main problems with Acer laptops are broken power pins. If you pull on your power cable which connects to your laptop you will probably break the little pin on the motherboard. Acer should sort this problem out as it has been like this for a couple of years now. An Acer laptop is a cheap and cheerful laptop that usually wont let you down.

HP    Hp Compaq laptops are usually good laptops to buy. Over the years they have suffered from inverter backlight problems and power pin connector problems. Their latest laptops are getting better. They are quite robust and are better for mobile use than many other makes of laptop so if you are going to carry it around it is strong like an IBM. Again be careful with the power connector on the back of the laptop.

Panasonic   Simply put this by far the best laptop to buy. Panasonic laptops are very very strong . They are used by the military and for obvious reasons. If you have plenty of cash then this is the laptop to buy. One small point to remember is that on a lot of Panasonic laptop the processor is soldered to the motherboard so upgrading it would be out of the options. However most customers don't even think about upgrading their processors at all so this should not be an issue.

Samsung   Good strong laptop have very few repair issues. Although Samsung sell few laptops they are a very good laptop to buy. This is a very powerful company who has just won the contract to build the Burj Dubai (The worlds largest skyscraper) A good laptop that has very few problems.
